What is low-acid coffee?
Our bodies naturally maintain a balanced level of acidity and alkalinity (or pH). And, anything containing acid—which is just about everything you eat or drink—affects your pH level in your stomach and intestines. Things that are highly acidic, like coffee, can irritate the stomach – especially for people who suffer with Acid Reflux, Acid Indigestion, or GERD.
Foods and beverages that have a low pH will have high acidity (and vice versa).

Using a 100% natural steaming process we remove the waxy outer coating of the coffee bean. It is in this wax that many of the acids and unpleasant characteristics of coffee occur.
